Sergio Rodrigues
Sergio Rodrigues is known to many as the godfather of Brazilian furniture. His designs go hand in hand with the relaxed Brazilian attitude and lifestyle, and utilized native woods like jacaranda, peroba, and imbuia. He worked closely with Oscar Niemeyer, creating interior furnishings for the architect’s buildings in Brazil, as well as playing a seminal role in the evolution of furniture in Brazil with his company Oca. His works are known for their playful, smart, and timeless aesthetics.
